I wasn’t quite planning to open the diary yet… but after all the interest and messages about Manual Lymphatic Drainage, I’ve decided to open bookings early! 🤍
Appointments will begin from September, but you can secure your space now.
MLD is a beautifully gentle treatment using slow, rhythmic movements to support your natural lymphatic flow — particularly helpful for feelings of swelling, puffiness, fluid retention and heavy limbs, as well as being deeply relaxing.

Episode 2💧- How does MLD actually work?
One of the things I love about Manual Lymphatic Drainage is just how gentle it is.
If you’re used to traditional massage, the light, slow movements can look very different - but that gentle pressure is completely intentional.
MLD works with the superficial lymphatic system, using slow, rhythmic movements to support the natural movement of lymph around the body. 💧
I’ve had SO many messages and questions since sharing Episode 1, which has made me even more excited to bring this treatment to Kelso Massage Therapy. 🤍

Something new is coming to Kelso Massage Therapy...
Over the last few weeks I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes, training and practising in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).
MLD is a specialised, incredibly gentle massage technique designed to support the natural movement of lymph through the lymphatic system.
In this video I’m treating my mum, who has lymphoedema and regularly experiences swelling in her legs, ankles, feet and arms.
This is the first in a little series where I’ll be sharing more about MLD - how it works, why the pressure is so light and who may benefit from it.
And then.... it’ll finally be time to add MLD to the treatment menu 💆♀️

There’s something really rewarding about never standing still.
Today I completed another professional qualification, continuing my commitment to expanding my knowledge and giving my clients the very best care possible.
I believe that learning never stops, and every new skill helps me provide an even better experience for those who put their trust in me.

Even massage therapists need massages 💆🏼♀️🌊
Last month while I was in Ibiza, I couldn’t resist booking a beach massage. There’s something incredibly relaxing about listening to the waves while someone works on those tight shoulders.
People often ask if I still get massages myself… absolutely! Experiencing different styles and techniques not only helps me unwind, but it also inspires me to bring new ideas back to my own treatment room.
Self-care isn’t a luxury - it’s something I believe in enough to invest in myself too.
