Hush Beauty Therapy

Karole Browne launched Hush Beauty Therapy in July 2006 to provide a calm and relaxing haven for people who needed to escape for an hour or two and receive professional treatments that met their specific needs. From the age of 16 years old working for Boots The Chemist she had been fascinated by the Beauty industry and continued an avid interest in treatments with visits to Spas around the country, finally much later in life she eventually decided to invest in training at college.

‘On my first evening of the course I fell in love with Beauty Therapy and knew I had chosen the right career path’

After a few years juggling both her career in electronics industry and gaining her NVQ2/3 Beauty Therapy qualifications she joined Adagio Beauty Salon (Huntingdon) on a part-time basis and from there developed the concept of Hush Beauty Therapy. Karole focused on developing her Hush client base through recommendations and referrals. “I never forget that every client is special, unique and with their own specific beauty objectives” and goes on to add that “I am extremely fortunate that many of my clients have been with me since the beginning and have been very instrumental in developing my business through word of mouth.” However, in the age of social networking, Karole has responded to her clients repeated requests to bring Hush Beauty into the Facebook & Internet age.
