We started off really steady, easing back into exercise properly after my lovely client had her baby and have built her back up to feeling strong, confident and heading towards her goal!

Helping get this lovely client feel strong and confident for her wedding has been so fun, she has worked so hard each and every session and the results are showing.

To receive messages about clothes fitting again, lifting heavier weights at the gym on her own and overall feeling better is why I love what I do!

Last night we had the most amazing class, running for 2 hours raising money for a local family ♥️

My Thursday night clubbers wanted to come together and do something for this amazingly brave little girl and let me tell you they showed up and glowed strong and hard for the whole time.

It was hot, we were sweaty but mostly it was so much fun and we all kept in mind why we were there!

I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for these amazing women who inspire me every single day!

Thank you to my Thursday night crew for always giving it 110% but even more so when we come together to raise money for such an important cause.

This salad is perfect for a summers day dinner, trust me, even if you’re not a big fan of salads, this one will not disappoint (even my husband loved it 🤪)

It was so full of flavour, it left me wanting more! The best bit is this could be a meal prep lunch too, if you prep it, keep your dressing in a separate container and add it when ready to eat!

Here is what we had:

▪️Chicken breast - seasoned with just a standard chicken seasoning - air fry for 22min at 200 degrees.
▪️6 thick cut slices of bacon - cooked really crispy
▪️Romaine lettuce
▪️Spring onion
▪️6 sundried tomatoes sliced
▪️ Avocado dressing
Half a large ripe avocado
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons natural yogurt
salt and pepper for flavour
1 small garlic clove
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
Water if needs thinning
Put it all into a blender and mix up 😋

It was so tasty and so filling! Save the recipe and give it a try 😋☀️

My 6 week progress! Half a stone down and still a bit more to go but I am happy that I am doing it right and it is a maintainable lifestyle.

Ok so it’s been 6 weeks since I decided to take back control.

Here are some changes I’ve noticed both internally and externally on my journey so far:

- I have learnt that I AM in control of what I choose to do and taking back that control, over my eating especially, has been so rewarding

- I feel like I have so much more energy during the day than I did when eating crap foods. I feel way less sluggish and lethargic, eating the right foods has helped me feel fuller and more energised for all the running.

- I am seeing my physical shape change, I have a goal I want to aim for to feel comfortable for myself. This isn’t a journey for anyone else, it is mine. Everyone has their own places where they feel happy and I know when I am at mine. No one can judge you for wanting or being how you want to be.

- I am learning again to love food and see it a source of fuel for my body, instead of comfort tool, instead of a “I need to have it before it’s gone” mentality, I am enjoying eating right and losing weight in the process without starving myself.

- I am enjoying challenging myself and making the most of the gift of being able to move each and everyday. I think this is something so many of us take for granted because it’s what we’ve always know and been able to do but do we really show how grateful we are for that ability??

Thank you all for your support, it has amazed me actually how many people have commented on my running or noticed etc. it really is nice to have a community around you to help push you forward instead of drag you down! Find your support team and stick with them 💪🏻♥️

Do you ever allow yourself to feel proud of your achievements, to celebrate your wins, and smile through your success?

I’ve never been the type person to feel these things, I’ve always been the sort of person who hasn’t felt good enough, whether that’s in my work, as a parent, in my own training, what ever it might be.

BUT

Over the last few months, I’ve challenged myself both mentally and physically, to allow myself to be happy with what I do in my life.

Do you know the really nice thing about it? I feel more confident, more head strong, more focused on reaching my goals than ever!

To be proud of yourself isn’t a bad thing, to be happy with yourself isn’t a bad thing, to challenge yourself and work hard and celebrate when you reach those wins, isn’t a bad thing!

If anyone isn’t happy for you when you reach those goals and are happy in yourself, that says more about them than it does you! You shouldn’t ever let anyone pull you off that cloud.

Try it, you’ll be amazed at how you feel!
