Most of you will already know of our plans but for those who don’t, grab a cuppa and read my book that’s about to follow🥰😅-
Back in 2010 at the age of just 22 and 25 two daft hairdressers had a dream....
that dream came true and La Roux was born👏🏽
What a cracking 11 years we’ve had....we turned a pokey wee shop into a thriving and successful business!💯 We’ve watched each other grow, get engaged, get married, have babies (omg I’m greeting)...I’ve been there while Alyson’s hurt herself daily (clumsiest person ever😂) while she’s been there to keep my daftness in check😂
There have been so many good times but as the old saying goes...all good things must come to an end. So, after 11 years of La Roux, Alyson and I are going our seperate ways💔
This has been on the cards for a long time and we’d already split our partnership from a financial perspective back in 2019 while continuing to trade from the same premises until the lease comes to an end...which is veryyy soon!☺️
We both want to expand and grow our businesses and there just isn’t enough room for us both to do this in the salon we’re in, sadly.💇🏼‍♀️
It really will be sooo strange not working alongside each other but we won’t be far away 😏 ...
I’ll be staying in the same place, taking on a new lease, starting a whole new chapter and Alyson will be doing her own thing just TWO DOORS DOWN🥳 - We still get to be neighbours and we are so buzzing about this!👏🏽💃🏽
Thank you SO much to every single one of you that have passed through our doors during the 11 years of La Roux and we mean that from the bottom of our hearts. Without you we wouldn’t be able to have any of this and we will be forever grateful to our loyal clients for all your support over the years💗🥰
Hopefully you’re all as excited as we are about this new chapter in our lives...we are certain you will LOVE our new salons and can’t wait to welcome you back🥰

Born 30/3/21 at 3:58pm and 7lbs 12.5oz of absolute perfection, we are absolutely besotted with him👶🏼❤️
Both Theo and I are doing great and I’m just loving being his mummy🥰
In other exciting news....it’s the 5th April, which means...WE’RE BACK IN BUSINESS🙌🏽
Good luck to Alyson, Robyn, Lauryn & Chelsea ok their first day back and to all the other salon girls...you’ve got this 💪🏽

Chelsea will soon be joining the team as Arlene’s new Assistant Stylist!🙌🏽
She absolutely smashed her trial shift back in December and is a total natural with all things hair!💜 She has been using this time to practice blowdrying & styling and will be on hand to help out Robyn when we’re allowed to work on real heads again!👏🏽
She can’t wait to get started...you’re gonna love her!🥰

2020 has been a tough one for us all and we can’t thank you enough for your support😘

✨💕 Especially for all the kindness, well wishes, love and support you’ve given me throughout the craziest year of my life. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least 🙄 and thank you ALL for being there and for being YOU 💕✨
