Fawcett Times expertly penned by Fawcett's very own Ink Slinger Cate McKay-Haynes - bravo!
And so, dear chums, the final chapter of The Last Huzzah... ✂️
What a note to end on. Global Educator Sid Sottung () at his absolute finest — delivering an expert wet shave on Ambassador Extraordinaire Johnny Appleby () with the kind of precision and artistry that quite simply takes one's breath away...
This is barbering at its purest. Blade, technique and decades of mastery distilled into a single, magnificent service.
The Captain could watch it on repeat indefinitely and one rather suspects you shall too.
Nothing Else Comes Close!

Dry beard? The Captain has a remedy - and it comes brewed with a rather fine IPA... 🍺
Ambassador Extraordinaire Russell Lee demonstrates precisely why Captain Fawcett's Beer'd Shampoo® is a bathroom shelf essential.
Containing over 80ml of fine ale - malt, hops and brewer's yeast - it gently cleanses facial hair without stripping natural oils, removing the dirt and impurities of the day whilst leaving one's beard refreshed, nourished and splendidly soft.
The suds, one is delighted to report, are every bit as satisfying as they look.

One's beard shall thank one accordingly. 🥃

Gadzooks! The rumours are confirmed, dear chums. 🌿
The Right Hand Man infiltrated the inaugural RHS Sandringham Flower Show - by bicycle, naturally - on a mission of the utmost botanical importance.
A glorious gathering of the great, the good and the green-fingered awaited. Captain Fawcett's Botanica Moustache Wax, crafted in fragrant cahoots with the irrepressible florist and RHS Ambassador Simon Lycett, was received with considerable enthusiasm by gentlemen of discerning taste - proving one may appreciate both prize pelargoniums AND first-rate facial foliage.
Her Majesty The Queen very graciously stopped to admire the RHM's trusty sola topi. One is never improperly dressed in a pith helmet.
Most intriguingly of all... a certain familiar gentleman was observed in the immediate vicinity of the Botanica Wax. Whether a royal moustache is now under consideration remains known only to His Majesty's barber.
To everyone who stopped to exchange stories or twirl a 'tache - you are, quite simply, blooming marvellous.
Onwards!

Part Two of the Making of Botanica takes the Captain to the extraordinary wholesale market that is New Covent Garden - where blooms arrive before dawn and the air is thick with the scent of something rather magnificent.
It was here, amongst the flowers and the vendors and the particular energy of a market that never truly sleeps, that the spirit of Botanica began to take shape...
Inspired by Simon Lycett's beloved scented-leaf pelargoniums and wild rocket self-seeded between London flagstones - vegetal, green, peppery and elegantly rakish. A fragrance for the gentleman unafraid of delight.
Suffice to say, the Captain has rather outdone himself this time. 🌸
Shot on location at New Covent Garden Market, London.

Every era has its Odyssey 🌊
It began with a schoolboy, a rain-lashed window and a Greek lesson that changed everything. It ends - well, it never quite ends. That's rather the point.
The Captain's Journal has a new entry, and one rather insists you read it. Particularly timely, given that Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey arrives in cinemas this July...
The full story - young Peabody Fawcett, Homer, a raft, a school pond and the expedition that started it all - is waiting for you at the Captain's Online Emporium.

Now, the Captain appreciates that one may raise an eyebrow - a lady gracing the Captain's usually rather gentlemanly feed? I say! 🙌
Rest assured, dear chums, great hair is most certainly not the exclusive domain of the gentleman, and Ambassador Extraordinaire Kieran Martin is here to prove precisely that.
Here, Kieran puts the new Maharajah Scalp Stimulating Shampoo and Hair Growth Serum through their paces, and the results speak rather eloquently for themselves.
The Maharajah Shampoo cleanses deeply, stimulating the scalp whilst nourishing every strand from root to tip. Follow with the Growth Serum crafted to awaken dormant follicles, strengthen hair and encourage the kind of growth one can be genuinely proud of.
For gentlemen, for ladies, for anyone who takes their hair seriously. Suffice to say, the Captain's doors are open to all.
Both are available now via the link below - do give them a try and report back...

In addition, a video guide on how to use this rather eloquent duet shall be making its way to your screens soon!
Sid Sottung is usually found in the barbering chair sharing his expertise - but this time Captain Fawcett's Global Educator swapped one chair for another, taking a seat with Arron Raw for a rather different kind of artistry...
The result? The Barberism logo, inked permanently onto Sid's calf. I say!
Dedication to the craft, quite literally under the skin!
Once the needle work was done, naturally Captain Fawcett's Tattoo Salve stepped in to soothe the fresh ink and aid the healing process, leaving the artwork looking sharp for years to come.

Ssshhh... all on the QT as it were... the Captain must insist on your absolute discretion... 🤫
Something rather special is brewing at Cotswold Perfumery and one cannot say more than that. Except, perhaps, to mention that a certain Mr. Ricki Hall has been spotted amongst the vials and vessels, getting rather hands-on with the process.
Suffice to say, if 'Booze & Baccy' is anything to go by... one's anticipation is considerable.
