A Digestive Mystery 🎙️🌿
​After our recent visit to the exotic specialist, we have been following a very specific roadmap to help Arnold find his "sweet spot."
​It turns out that rabbit digestion is even more complex than we thought! One of the most fascinating takeaways from our specialist (and her consultation with a London expert) is that some rabbits avoid their caecotrophs simply because their diet makes them smell "off" to them.
​Our Current Protocol:
✅ The "Rule of One": Only one dietary change at a time to maintain stability.
✅ No greens until he is older and his system has matured.
✅ Monitoring for those "Golden Droppings."
✅ Plan B: If he doesn't stabilise, we move on to trialling different pellets to find the perfect fit for his sensitive tummy.
