October feels different this year.
Not because everything suddenly got easier. Not because all the hurt disappeared or every part of my life finally makes sense. But because I’m walking into this month with a different mindset.
I’m learning to own my story, even the chapters I wish had been written differently. To choose myself without feeling guilty for it. To trust a process I don’t always understand. To outgrow the things, places, and versions of myself that continue to hurt me.
I’m learning that believing in yourself doesn’t mean you never doubt yourself. Sometimes it just means continuing when every part of you is questioning whether you can.
Change is uncomfortable. Healing is messy. Growth can feel a lot like losing everything before you realize you’re actually making room for something new.
So this October, I’m not asking for a perfect month.
I’m asking for the strength to keep becoming the person all of this was supposed to create.
Own your story.
Choose yourself.
Trust the process.
Outgrow what hurts.
Believe in yourself.
Embrace the change.
