Is anyone able to come cut a bike lock off the salon gate for me today? I’ve lost the key (and no idea where!) so can’t get in the salon 🤦‍♀️😭

Introducing Bea! ✨

Bea is going to be starting at The Den today, they’re going to be learning all things ‘The Den’ and basically being my extra pair of hands & wingman. I’m really excited!
They have a vast knowledge of SEND & are a huge advocate of inclusivity.

All appointments will still be with me as normal and all booking remains the same, Bea will just be there in the background. If you wish for your appointment to remain just me then that’s okay too, just let me know 😊

For me it’s:

✨ No sensory overload - lots of people & hairdryers = banished
✨ Patience & kindness as standard
✨ Privacy when you need it, with only one client/family at a time

The Den is more than just hair — it’s a safe space I built for people who don’t always feel comfortable in traditional salons. I’ve put my heart and soul into the place, not for money or clout, but because I never wanted anyone else to feel like I did when trying to access a simple haircut.
And I’m so proud of the space I’ve created ❤️

I am in need of an extra pair of hands, someone with a keen interest in hairdressing or already qualified. This will be a part time assistant role (self employed) with the long term plan that you will be able to cover my role when I’m on holiday etc (therefore must be willing to earn a qualification if not already qualified).

I am more interested in the person you are, your interests and your personality than I am your current role or experience. However you MUST hold an enhanced DBS check and be able to be insured.
Flexibility, patience and kindness are also a necessity.
