Jules Of The Earth
Skincare alchemy for women who don’t do half-lives. Fire-lit. Soul-led. Threshold work in jars. Made in Yorkshire. These aren’t ordinary creams or perfumes.
Jules of the Earth creates scent-led skincare for women walking their own path home. Everything here is made by hand in East Yorkshire — shaped by story, stirred by fire, grounded in the body, and lit by something older. They’re thresholds. Invitations. Small, potent rites of becoming. I work with scent, intention, archetype and transformation. Each range follows a different arc:

The "Why I Hide"
I’ll be honest—I’m not a "social media" person. I’d much rather be in the workshop with my hands in a batch of cream or out in the garden than talking to a phone screen.
But I realise that if you’re buying something to put on your skin, you want to know who’s making it.
I’m Jules. I’m a herbalist, a maker, and I’m usually covered in a bit of garden grit. I don’t do the polished "influencer" thing because it isn't real. The "magick" happens in the mess, not in the filters.

The "Wednesday Slump"
It’s 2:17 pm on a Wednesday and the slump has officially hit.
This is the exact moment I had in mind when I started working on my new scent (Smells Like Wednesday Afternoon). That feeling of being "beyond it" and needing a quick sharp reset to get through the rest of the day.
It’s currently stuck in the safety paperwork stage (the least "magickal" part of the job), but for now, a strong brew and a deep breath will have to do. How are you holding up today?

The "Anti-Self-Care" Truth
Everyone talks about self-care like it’s a bubble bath and a glass of wine. Honestly? To me, self-care is finally cleaning out that one kitchen cupboard or getting my fish tank sorted.
It’s the boring, practical stuff that actually clears the head. My workshop is the same—I can’t think straight until the jars are lined up and the surfaces are clear.
I’d rather have a tidy spice rack than a scented candle any day. What’s your version of "boring" self-care?

Fred’s been out in the garden again, and as usual, he’s brought half the flowerbed back in with him on his hands.
I don’t make this soap for people who just want a bit of a scent in the morning. I make it for hands like Fred’s—hands that work, hands that get properly mucky, and hands that need a bit of looking after once the tools are put away.
It’s got that fine pumice to shift the grit and plantain to soothe the skin. No fuss, just a proper bit of cleaning for a proper day’s work.
It’s on the website if you’ve got someone like Fred in your house who keeps bringing the garden indoors.

Hands that tend the earth deserve a bit of enchantment
I was thinking about how much we ask of our hands. They’re usually the first things into the cold and the last things we think about at the end of the day.
I made this Muck & Magic lotion to be a bit of a rescue. It’s not about looking pretty—it’s about calming weathered skin and shifting that tight, dry feeling you get after a day in the garden.
It’s got that whisper of garden-blossom warmth that lingers long after the work is done.
It’s on the website if you’ve got hands that need it.

It starts in the garden.
Soil under the nails, hands busy, mind somewhere else.
Then a moment—
something soft worked back into the skin, right there amongst the pots and leaves.
Not to undo the work.
Just to honour it.

Bad Decisions & Regret didn’t start as a product.
It started as a reckoning.
This scent carries a nine-year arc of choices, thresholds, and truths you can’t unknow once you’ve lived them.
This is not about regret.
It’s about the moment you realise you already chose.
No fixing. No polishing. Just truth, bottled.

If you’re new here, welcome.
Take your time.
Wander.
See what calls to you.
Some people arrive for scent. Some for ritual. Some because something inside them whispers it’s time.
Wherever you begin, I’m glad you’re here.

Jules of the Earth is rooted in something older than skincare.
It’s built on fire, sovereignty, and the refusal to stay small.
In this space, shadow isn’t feared. Transformation isn’t treated as a flaw. And the divine feminine is allowed her full expression — unruly, luminous, and unapologetic.
If that calls to you, welcome home.

I make what I make because women deserve things that honour their depth — not deny it.
For years I tried to shrink, soften, behave.
Then I stopped.
And everything I create now carries that same feral permission slip:
Be real. Be rooted. Be radiant in the way only you can be.
This isn’t “self-care.” It’s self-sovereignty.
