How anyone can steal from a charity is beyond me, but how on earth has two tonnes of compost be removed with no one noticing!

Please - if anyone of my followers can help rspca with this let them know. I am going to contact them and find out how I can help too.

They are not a government funding charity and need all the help we can give them!

🐾 Our Dogs Deserved Better 💔

Sadly, today we arrived at our centre to discover that the 2 tonnes of compost we had delivered for our new dog sensory garden had been stolen.

This wasn't just compost. It was part of a project our dedicated staff and volunteers have been working so hard to create to enrich the lives of the dogs in our care. Our volunteers had given up their own time today to continue the garden, only to arrive and find all of the compost had gone.

It's incredibly disheartening.

As a self-funded RSPCA branch, every penny we receive goes towards caring for vulnerable animals. We simply don't have spare funds to replace items that are stolen from us.

The sensory garden was going to provide our dogs with a safe and enriching space to explore, sniff, play and relax while they wait for their forever homes. Sadly, because of this theft, the project now has to be put on hold.

It's heartbreaking that something intended to improve the lives of rescued animals has been taken away from them.

If anyone knows of a business or individual who may be able to help us replace the compost, or would like to support the project in any way, please get in touch with us.

Apologies for radio silence recently. I’ve been so busy, meeting lots of amazing new clients and seeing my awesome regular clients too. I say clients - but you guys are more like friends. Even you new ones 😉

I do need your help though -

I’ve spoken a lot about how fussy Mr Bear is with his food and how quickly he goes off things, which meansI have a good stock of foods that are all sealed and in date. And being unused.

I’d love to take them to a dog shelter. But I don’t know which one is best (I know any is helpful) however, if anyone knows one that is particularly struggling with food support- please tag them and I’ll arrange to drop it off # # #
