i do the soap making as a therapeutic hobby, it is not a business, i am a stroke patient and this helps me to keep stress levels to a minimum. I also donate some of my soaps to charities,or worthy causes, i like to do occassional craft fairs but usually ones which are to raise money for local charities, or causes, at the moment i do the craft market at my local community centre which is the Lonsdale Centre on Anlaby road which is on a wednesday 9-2pm, this is for members of the local comumunity, it brings people out of isolation like myself , to meet new people, have a nice natter and a cuppa in the cafe which is very reasonably priced.You will find card makers, knitters,woodcrafters, jewellery makers, we even have an organic veggie seller and they are cheaper than the big shops, all produce is from the surrounding area. So why not pop in some time, come and have a natter with us, make some new friends.
