☀️ Summer Clinic Update ☀️
Just a little heads-up that I’ll be taking some planned time away from the clinic over the summer.
This year marks my first Healthcare Improvement Scotland inspection, which is a huge milestone for DH Medical Aesthetics.
📅 The clinic will be closed:
✨ 25th–29th July – to allow time to prepare for my inspection.
✨ 5th–16th August – to recover after the inspection, spend some quality time with my family, celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and enjoy having my husband home from work.
If you’ve been thinking about booking treatment before your own summer plans—or you’d like an appointment soon after I return—please get in touch as availability is becoming limited.
I’ll still keep an eye on messages where I can, but replies may be a little slower than usual while I’m away.
Thank you all for your continued support. It really is appreciated, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all again after a short break, refreshed and ready for the months ahead. 💙
Back home (Actually just arrived in Glasgow for the next event 🤪) after an incredible few days in London attending Galderma’s biggest event of the year, GAIN!
A day filled with learning, collaboration and inspiration, all set within a stunning venue with food galore and some of the biggest names in aesthetics sharing their knowledge and experience.
I was also lucky enough to squeeze in some quality time with my sister and sister-in-law. A couple of drinks, plenty of laughs and a lovely traditional Italian meal made the trip even more special.
And finally… can we just take a moment to acknowledge the random cube of cheese on my cooked breakfast plate? 🤣
No explanation. No regrets. 🧀😂

✈️ From Edinburgh to London, with a stay at the beautiful Strand Palace tonight ahead of the Galderma GAIN event tomorrow 🌟
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been invited to attend this event and am looking forward to what promises to be an insightful, engaging, and collaborative day of learning with some of the leading minds in medical aesthetics 💖

If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little quieter on social media lately, blame the toddler… 😅
It’s been a full-on couple of weeks here.
Between head bumps, tumbles down some stairs, and a raging viral illness complete with a temperature, cough, sore throat and upset tummy, it’s fair to say we’ve barely had a moment to catch our breath.
The world of toddlerhood is wild ! 🤪 🤦🏼♀️❤️
Today, however, I’ve escaped to the hairdressers for a little bit of time out and recovery of my own!
I have a pressing need to banish the ever-increasing number of grey hairs that seem to have appeared overnight… funny that. 🤷🏼♀️😂
This ageing malarkey may be a privilege but it takes its toll on self esteem 🥴
To everyone currently juggling work, family life, endless responsibilities, and trying to keep all the plates spinning, I see you.
Some weeks are all about thriving. Other weeks are all about surviving.
Thankfully, we’re finally starting to turn a corner, and after a chaotic few weeks at home, I have a really exciting week ahead with industry events in both London and Glasgow. Opportunities to learn, network, develop new skills and bring even more back to the clinic are always worth making time for.
For now though, I’m embracing a couple of hours of peace, a fresh colour, and the luxury of sitting still with a coffee without hearing “Mamma!” every 30 seconds. ☕️😂

The stroke team in Ward 42 at Victoria Hospital have been marking Stroke Awareness Month. They’re raising awareness of stroke risk factors, symptoms and the treatments available.
Every year, more than 10,000 people in Scotland experience a stroke, and spotting the signs early can save lives.
FAST means:
➡️ Face: Can the person smile? Is one side of their face drooping?
➡️ Arms: Can they lift both arms? Is one arm weak?
➡️ Speech: Is their speech slurred or hard to understand?
➡️ Time: It’s time to call 999 immediately.
