I have been busy (and stressed) behind the scenes 🤓đź«
I hadn't planned on going back to university just now. Between family life, being a Midwife and running a business, it wasn't something | was looking to take on. However, with the changes to aesthetic regulations, it became a necessity.
To ensure the highest standards of patient safety, provide the best possible convenience for my clients, meet all legal and ethical requirements, and continue to grow my clinic, it was a step I had to take (despite the massive ÂŁ4,000 cost e
After one of the most challenging and intensive courses I have ever completed, I am incredibly happy to say that I have officially qualified as an Independent Prescriber.
This means I can now prescribe the medications my clients require directly within the clinic, allowing me to offer an even safer, more streamlined, and comprehensive service. (This includes Botox. Many people are not aware that you need a prescription for this product)
I am absolutely over the moon and excited for what this means for my clients and the future of my business. 📝 💉 🤍
If I had to choose one treatment to improve overall skin quality, microneedling would be high on my list. It works by creating controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen production, helping improve acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and overall skin quality over time.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that microneedling is a one time treatment. While each session boosts collagen production, the best results come from a series of treatments performed consistently. Think of microneedling as a long term investment in your skin rather than a quick fix.
The goal isn't just to build collagen once, it's to continue stimulating collagen over time for healthier, stronger, and smoother looking skin.
Have you tried microneedling before?
I usually recommend 4 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart then one session every 2-3 months to keep the good work working.
Being consistent is what is needed when it comes to this treatment.
Trust the process 🤍

🤍 The Aesthetics Industry is changing to ensure safer practice
Your feed is overflowing with aesthetics adverts but not all providers are created equal. When it comes to your face, expertise and safety should be your top priorities!
Here's why i think we stand out:
✔️Healthcare Improvement Scotland Registered - We meet the highest safety and regulatory standards.
✔️Medically Trained Professional - Your treatments are performed by a qualified medical expert, not just a trained injector.
✔️Safety First, Always - Between us we have in depth knowledge of facial anatomy, complications management, and aftercare.
✔️Premium Products Only - We use gold standard, industry leading products to ensure the best possible results. v Ethical & Legal Practice - Did you know it's illegal to advertise certain treatments, including prescription only medications such as Botox, in the UK?
✔️We always operate within the law, prioritising your safety over sales tactics.
✔️We are all independent prescribers (we have spent months at university for this qualification) This means we can order prescription items such as Botox, antibiotics, filler dissolving medications, adrenaline etc. During an emergency, being an independent prescriber is vital.
🤍 When it comes to aesthetics, don't take risks 🤍

FACE TO FACE PRESCRIBING
In clinic, we follow the law.
If a treatment requires a prescriber, you must be seen face to face by that prescriber before treatment takes place.
This isn't optional.
It isn't a preference.
It's a legal requirement.
In Scotland, legislation is becoming even stricter under the new bill meaning face to face prescribing requirements are being reinforced.
If you are receiving prescription only treatment without seeing the prescriber in person beforehand, the law is being broken.
We will always:
• See you in person
• Ensure a compliant prescription
• Work within current legislation
No shortcuts. No grey areas. Just lawful practice. 🤍
