A Kirkcaldy-based beauty professional with more than 20 years of experience in the industry has been shortlisted as a finalist for Waxing Specialist of the Year 2026.

Stefeny, has dedicated her career to developing her expertise in waxing, educating aspiring beauty therapists and helping clients feel comfortable and confident during their treatments.

This latest achievement follows Stefeny's success at the awards in 2023, when she took home the Silver Award for Beauty Therapist of the Year. Being shortlisted once again is another proud milestone in her career and recognises her continued commitment to her specialist field.

Alongside running her own beauty academy, Stefeny is an official Italwax UK Trainer and Ambassador, sharing her knowledge and experience with other beauty professionals while helping to raise standards within the waxing industry.

Her approach combines technical expertise with a strong emphasis on client comfort, confidence and education. She is passionate about challenging misconceptions surrounding intimate waxing and ensuring clients feel relaxed, respected and at ease throughout their appointments.

Honestly, the first Hollywood wax is a rollercoaster of emotions… fear, regret, bargaining with God, and then finally… the smoothest little victory of your life! 🤣🙌🏼
