🌟 Fact Friday #2 – Asking for Help is a Strength
FACT: Reaching out for support is a sign of courage, not weakness.
Many people wait months or even years before talking about how they’re feeling. Speaking up can be the first step towards feeling better.
You don’t have to face things alone. 💙
There’s still time to sponsor the team and our young people as we do our first ever sponsored walk around Beveridge park 😊, fundraisers like our sponsored walk are so important to help us continue to support the young people in our communities, every penny made goes directly into our holiday clubs and our bigger and better groups restarting in September. We know how important our services are and with your help we can reach more young people as we continue to grow 😊
If you’d like to sponsor one of our volunteers or young people please leave a comment and we will send payment details 💙🏴

💙 Father’s Day with MHW 💙
Today, we celebrate all the dads, stepdads, grandads, foster dads, father figures, and the positive male role models who make a difference in the lives of young people every day.
Fatherhood isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being present, listening, supporting, encouraging, and showing up when it matters most.
At The Mental Health Warriors, we recognise the important role fathers and father figures play in supporting mental health and wellbeing. Whether you’re sharing advice, offering a shoulder to lean on, or simply spending quality time together, those moments can make a lasting impact.
We are also super excited to share that joining us for our upcoming Rounders for Mental Health event will be the fantastic lads from Andy’s Man Club Dunfermline! ⚾💙
This special event will bring together dads, young people, families, and the community for a fun-filled day while raising awareness of the importance of mental health and supporting one another.
We also acknowledge that Father’s Day can be difficult for some. If today brings mixed emotions, please remember that you’re not alone, and it’s okay to take time for yourself.
To all the amazing dads and father figures in our community—thank you for everything you do. 💙
Happy Father’s Day from everyone at MHW.

📢 Volunteer Opportunities with Future Paid Positions 📢
At The Mental Health Warriors, we are continuing to grow thanks to the dedication, passion, and commitment of our amazing volunteers.
We would like to be transparent about our recruitment process:
💙 All current positions within MHW are voluntary roles.
💙 As funding becomes available, we hope to create paid employment opportunities within the organisation.
💙 Any paid positions that arise will always be offered internally to existing volunteers first, recognising the time, effort, and commitment they have already invested in our community.
💙 If positions remain unfilled after the internal recruitment process, they will then be advertised publicly.
Volunteering with MHW is a fantastic opportunity to:
✨ Gain valuable experience
✨ Develop new skills
✨ Support your local community
✨ Be part of a passionate and supportive team
✨ Help shape the future of our services
We are committed to investing in our volunteers and creating pathways for personal and professional development wherever possible.
If you’d like to become part of the MHW family and help make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
