Today is World Mental Health Day, and here at Mental Health Warriors, we want to remind every young person that they matter, they are valued, and they never have to face their struggles alone. 🫶

💙 Mental health matters just as much as physical health.

💜 It’s okay not to be okay.

💙 It’s okay to ask for help.

💜 It’s okay to feel different, to struggle, and to have days when everything feels a little too much.

Behind every smile, there can be a struggle that nobody sees. That’s why it’s so important to check in with the people around us, listen without judgement, and create a world where nobody feels ashamed to talk about how they’re feeling.

At Mental Health Warriors, our mission is to support young people across Scotland aged 5–17 who are experiencing mental health challenges or have additional needs. Through our groups, activities and wellbeing support, we want every young person to have a safe place to belong, make friends, build confidence and feel understood. 💙💜

We know that one safe space, one person who listens, or one moment of kindness can make a difference.

✨ You don’t have to have everything figured out.
✨ You don’t have to be strong every single day.
✨ You deserve support, kindness and understanding — exactly as you are.

Today, we encourage everyone to start a conversation, check in on a friend, listen to a young person, or simply remind someone that they are not alone.

Let’s break the stigma, raise awareness and keep showing young people that their voices matter. 💙

Reminder our next parent support group session is this coming Monday 10-11:30am, this group is open to parents who have a child or teen who is experiencing challenges with their mental health or have additional needs to share experiences, gain advice and support from other parents 😊
