Beauty girls… this just makes SO much sense to me 🤯
For years I thought the only way to earn more from my beauty business was to squeeze in another client, work another Saturday or somehow find another hour in a diary that was already full.
But we literally spend our working days building relationships with people.
We know when they’re getting married.
We know where they’re going on honeymoon.
We know about the girls’ trip they’ve got planned.
We know when they’re desperate for a holiday 😂
Because that’s just the chat we have every single day.
So finding a way to create another income from something that fits so naturally alongside what I already do — without adding more clients to my diary — has been a complete no-brainer for me.
And it’s ultimately what’s helped me cut back my beauty hours, work fewer weekends and get more of my time back ❤️

Well I guess since it's October I can't keep being in denial that we're still in summer 🙈🙈
So it's about time I posted my fave pics from our Getaway Collection team retreat in Palma from earlier in September.
46 of us has such an amazing fun few days together in the sunshine. I am so lucky to have made some really good friends from this business, and get to do it alongside my sister in law too 💕💕 big shout out to Gem for organising a fab weekend. Can't wait for the next one!
God I'm missing that sunshine so much though!! And fyi it's meant to be a typhoon in Japan so cannot wait for that!

There's something about the dopamine boost from crossing things off your to-do list.
I actually make a list each night so I remember what I have to do the next day (the joys of perimenopause brain!), so when I do something that wasn't on the list, I will definitely add it on there, so I can take it off again!

Who am I trying to kid?! I don't tan 🤣🤣🤣
But I am a slightly less white shade of white than my winter white.
We've got a big Japan-Singapore holiday booked soon and whilst it's meant to be relatively hot the forecast is for rain (story of my life) so not sure I'll get to keep up my tan there either!!
Maybe I'll just need to book another hot holiday soon?!
I am not a fan of the grey and the cold and the wet and the dark that is fast approaching. Roll on spring 2027, anyone else?!

This isn't the post I thought I'd be sharing from my team trip to Mallorca. But I'm battling demons that I know I'm not the only one fighting.
I had a bit of a menty-b whilst on a boat trip that I had been looking forward to for months, and somehow I managed to keep it from other people.
Perimenopause, anxiety, hormones, low self esteem.... whatever the hell it was it ruined my day and I'm pretty mad about it.
I'm a busy mum running my own businesses and I'm somehow juggling everything pretty well 90% of the time, but sometimes something kicks off in my brain and I spiral.
I want to show that it can look like everything is ok from the outside but it isn't ok on the inside. And I want other women to know that they're not alone if they ever feel like this.
I think we don't talk about this enough in the "girlboss" world - you can be smashing it and still have days your brain tries to take you down. If you're a mum juggling your own business (or thinking about starting one) and you want the honest version, not just the highlight reel, this is your sign to hit follow. Let's be honest about this stuff together. 🫶
