TSW with Karyn

Almost a year since I appeared in TSW documentary ‘My Skin , My story .. I will be 4yrs steroid free this Sep 2026 .. I never knew what pathway it would lead but like everyone I’ve had to ‘claw’ my own way to the surface with my ‘recovery route’ I’m currently 10mths on methotrexate and it has been a huge help in the way that I’m functioning , finding peace and acceptance in my choices is also aiding my recovery .. I have a medical condition and it’s brutal and non linear and I’m not guaranteed ‘a tomorrow’ so for now I’m grounding myself in the ‘present’ not the past and not the future ❤️‍🩹🫶

Full Spectrum Infared Sauna

Near-Infrared – between 0.075 – 1.5 microns. The shortest wavelength absorbed and penetrates just below the surface of the skin and creates perspiration that promotes and acts are the gateway to expel the bodies toxins and promotes healing and revitalisation of the skin

I’m into my 4 th year of TSW on a recovery pathway and not portraying the full minor /major symptoms,
I am also on an immunosuppressant drug Methotrexate this is helping me to function relatively normal life at the moment while my neuro immune system ,Autonomic nervous system and skin barrier continue to repair and stabilise over time

Unfortunately with TSW we come up against misinformation and also comments that try to dispel
And belittle those who are suffering through TSW
That is why we need to continue to support and protect those in the TSW community by giving factual information regarding the condition

current research (NIH) 2024/25 has discovered it to be a different entity from ‘eczema ‘ and currently TSW research has started at Edinburgh Uni
