I’ve had quite a few companies ask whether I’d like to promote vibration plates or recommend them to my clients.

I’ve always declined.

Not because I think vibration plates are useless, they’re not. For some people, especially those with reduced mobility or who struggle to exercise in more traditional ways, they may be a helpful way to introduce movement.

But I always come back to the same question:

Have we mastered the basics first?

Before investing in expensive equipment, I’d much rather help someone build simple habits that they can maintain long term.

Walking.

Diaphragmatic breathing.

Getting up more often during the day.

Gentle exercise they actually enjoy.

For some people, rebounding may also be an option, provided it’s appropriate for them.

These are all accessible, low-cost (or free) ways to increase movement, and consistency with these habits is likely to have a far greater impact than buying a piece of equipment that ends up gathering dust.

Could a vibration plate have a place? Absolutely.

Would I recommend one as the first step for most people? Probably not.

I’ve never wanted this page to become somewhere that promotes products just because I’ve been offered a collaboration. If I recommend something, it’s because I genuinely believe it offers value not because someone has asked me to sell it.

Sometimes the best advice really is the simplest.

Move a little more today than you did yesterday. Then do it again tomorrow.

Many of you know us as a clinic, but you might not realise we also have a dedicated training academy, The Secret Training Rooms.

If you’ve been thinking about adding lymphatic treatments to your clinic, or you’d like to build more confidence working with complex clients, we’d love to welcome you.

Our training is designed for therapists who want to understand why they’re doing what they’re doing, not just memorise a routine. We focus on clinical reasoning, adapting treatments to the individual in front of you, and giving you the confidence to work safely and effectively.

Our next available training dates are:
• Brazilian Lymphatic Sculpting Massage – 30th August
• Post Op Lymphatic Care – 12th & 13th September (1 space remaining)
• Comprehensive Manual Lymphatic Drainage – 20th September

If you’d like to find out more, head over to , where we share course information, student stories and educational content for therapists.

We’d love to have you join our training community.

A little pause to celebrate a team who have given so much this year.

We spent the afternoon at the beautiful Angelic Garden Sauna in Kirkcaldy, starting with a calming sound bath (where we all fell asleep!) before making our way between the hot tub, cold plunge and sauna. We finished the day with pizza and marshmallows ❤️ ✨

Running a small business isn’t always easy, and I know how much hard work, care and compassion this team puts into looking after our clients every single day. This was just a small thank you for everything they do.

Here’s to taking time to recharge, reconnect and appreciate the people who make it all possible. ✨💕

Lipedema is still widely misunderstood.

For years it was described as simply an abnormal accumulation of fat, but we’re learning that it’s much more complex than that. Research is continuing to explore the roles of hormones, inflammation, connective tissue, genetics and the lymphatic system in how the condition develops and progresses.

While there isn’t currently a cure, there are ways to help manage symptoms.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage doesn’t remove lipedema fat, but it can help reduce fluid build-up, ease feelings of heaviness, improve comfort and support the lymphatic system alongside other management strategies.

Every person with lipedema is different, which is why treatment should always be tailored to the individual.

If you’ve been struggling with painful legs, easy bruising, heaviness or swelling and think lipedema could be a possibility, seeking advice from a healthcare professional with experience in the condition is an important first step.

Remember: your symptoms are real, and you deserve to be listened to.

• Feeling lighter and less sluggish
• Supporting circulation and lymphatic flow
• Encouraging healthy digestive function

Treatment Options
