A massive thank you to Cruickshank Glaziers Ltd for coming to my rescue and fitting my brand new window. Lads, you did a fantastic job! 🙌🏼 It looks absolutely awesome and what a difference it makes! 🪟✨
And a huge thank you to my awesome mate Kirsty Westwater ❤️ who was straight on the case and got everything sorted and repaired as quickly as possible. Couldn’t ask for a better Gal 🥰

🍜 Some Friendships Never Lose Their Flavour ❤️
Well... this has got to be one of the most thoughtful (and funniest!) gifts I've ever received! 😂

A lovely friend and former work colleague, michelle has recently come back into my life and is now trusting me with her hair again. Little did I know she'd been creating this behind the scenes!
Years ago, when we worked together, I apparently became famous for eating my Pot Noodle with a spoon... not a fork! 🥄🤣 It's one of those random memories that's stuck with her all these years.
Then there's the little 11:11 hidden in the picture too. If you know me, you'll know I'm forever catching 11:11 wherever I look, for me, its a little reminder to stay positive and trust that good things are on their way. ✨❤️"✨
To anyone else, it's just a funny AI picture... but to us, it's years of memories, laughs, inside jokes and a friendship that's found its way back again.
It's now got pride of place on my salon story wall, where it'll make me smile every single day.

Gutted to be posting this, but due to other salon commitments I'm unfortunately no longer able to attend Kaine Vakai's Grey Blending Workshop in London this Sunday.

Having already had the opportunity to spend a day shadowing Kaine, I can honestly say he is one of the most talented, knowledgeable and generous educators I've had the pleasure of learning from. His attention to detail, consultation skills, colour knowledge and the way he approaches every client are on another level.

If you're looking to refine your grey blending, colour placement and consultation skills, this is an incredible opportunity to learn from one of the best in the industry.

The organisers have confirmed the ticket can be transferred to another attendee.

Throwback to 2011 ✨

My HNC graded unit photoshoot with my gorgeous friend Alisa modelling for me — and it also happens to be her birthday today 🩷🎉

This look was heavily inspired by the incredible creative work from Charlie Miller collections at the time — and honestly I still am obsessed with their work now. Their editorial styling and artistic approach to hairdressing always stood out to me and really inspired my creative side back then at college.

I wanted big textured editorial hair with a soft pastel edge — lots of backcombing, crimped texture, soft candy pink and lilac tones, finished with the braided detail through the front to soften the shape. The makeup and styling pulled the whole concept together and gave it that high-fashion creative feel.

What makes me laugh looking back is I also did the makeup myself… and at that point I genuinely had no clue what I was doing 😅 I’d never been taught makeup properly, didn’t know how to contour or anything like that — just completely winged it and hoped for the best.

Honestly such an awesome day at college and one of those memories that reminds you why you fell in love with hairdressing in the first place ✨

This memory popped up today and instantly reminded me how much I loved the creativity behind photoshoots. From the hair, styling and vision to seeing everything come together in front of the camera… there’s just something special about it ✨

The stunning handmade wedding dress was created by my amazing friend and Caitlin absolutely brought the whole look to life. Beautiful lass!!👌😘

Today was my 2nd of Kirsty’s Business Obsessed workshop for me and honestly…
another amazing day ✨🙌

I came away feeling so motivated, inspired and with even more clarity and direction for my business. What I love about these workshops is they’re packed with practical advice you can actually use in real salon life, but never feel overwhelming. The whole atmosphere is so welcoming, supportive and relaxed.
Kirsty is honestly full of knowledge and had fab ideas and answers for everyone in the room. You can really see how passionate she is about helping people in the hair & beauty industry grow and succeed 🤍
One of my favourite parts too was the networking side of it — meeting such lovely like-minded people in the industry, hearing everyone’s journeys and supporting each other ✨

Also… amazing lunch, good chats and plenty laughs too 😂

If you’re self-employed, run a salon or just feel a bit stuck with your business or social media direction, I’d honestly really recommend these workshops ✨
