July 🫶

My birthday month... and honestly I don't think I've ever felt so loved.

So many flowers, thoughtful gifts, time with family and friends, little moments that I'll remember for a long time. ✨️

It wasn't without its challenges either. Business definitely tested me a few times this month, but I suppose that's part of growing. Every challenge teaches you something, and I'm choosing to take the lessons rather than dwell on them.

I'm going into August feeling really grateful. For my people, my clients, the opportunities, and all the little things that make life feel full.

The goal for August? More slow moments, more flowers, more laughter and making memories with the people I love. 🤍

Why do your feet go cold during lymphatic drainage? 🥶

Cold feet during lymphatic drainage are surprisingly common and, in many cases, can occur as your body begins to relax and shift into a parasympathetic ("rest and digest") state.

As your nervous system settles, your body changes how it prioritises blood flow and energy. While some clients notice cold feet or hands, others experience yawning, stomach gurgling, deep sighs or even fall asleep on the treatment bed.

It doesn't automatically mean something is wrong.
That said, cold feet aren't always caused by lymphatic drainage. They can also be linked to poor circulation, anaemia, thyroid conditions, nerve-related issues or simply the temperature of the room. That's why I never assume one symptom has one explanation.

Every client who walks through my door receives an individual consultation before treatment because your body, and your health history matter.

One of my favourite parts of what I do is helping clients understand why their body responds the way it does. Sometimes the smallest changes during a treatment tell us the biggest story.

You think you're falling asleep because you're exhausted.

Sometimes that's true. But more often than not, what I'm witnessing is something much deeper.

Many of the women I treat spend their lives in "go mode."

Working.
Parenting.
Caring for everyone else.
Always switched on.

Then, for 90 minutes, they're warm, comfortable, listened to and under no pressure to do anything.
For some, that's the first time their nervous system has truly felt safe in weeks. Months. Sometimes even years.

That's why so many of my clients tell me they fell asleep, struggled to keep their eyes open afterwards, or had the best sleep they'd had in a long time.

Not because the treatment "made them tired." But because their body finally felt able to rest.

🤍 Every experience is different, and not everyone will feel sleepy after treatment. But if you do... your body may simply be telling you something it's been asking for all along.✨️
