I began my massage journey in 2000 by completing my Diploma in Clinical Aromatherapy, having been inspired by the effectiveness of treatments I had received myself as a client. Whilst working from Napiers Herbal Healthcare in Edinburgh I went on to expand my practice by gaining further qualifications in a number of complementary massage therapies including reflexology, sports and hot stone massage
. After working at Napiers for almost 10 years, I returned to full-time education, and began to focus on providing massage at sporting and leisure events as well as within workplace-based settings. Being trained in both therapeutic and remedial massage techniques, these can be used either to address specific physical symptoms, or alternatively provide a luxurious treatment focused on pure relaxation. Treatments themselves will begin with a short consultation where clients have an opportunity to discuss, in confidence, any existing health conditions, injuries or lifestyle concerns that they may have. This allows me to direct each individual treatment towards meeting your needs using the most effective techniques possible. In line with my personal ethos I use ethically-sourced, organic oils that are rich in nutrients and kind to your skin. In addition to therapeutic treatments, I have a number of qualifications in teaching adult learners and was responsible for delivering vocational aromatherapy and reflexology courses at Stevenson College Edinburgh for a number of years alongside my massage practice.
