Living Well, Not Just Living Longer. 𝑨 𝒇𝒆𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉, 𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒂𝒔𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓. Longevity has become one of the biggest conversations in wellness. From supplements and biohacking to health testing and personalised plans, more and more people are becoming interested in not just living longer, but living well. At its heart, I don’t think longevity is really about adding years to life. I think it’s about having energy. I felt myself hit a bit of burnout last week. It started with food poisoning and a rather surreal moment where I woke up on my bathroom floor at midnight with no idea how I got there. I’ll spare you the details, but, it took me three hours to sort myself out before I went back to bed. Despite that, I carried on and worked at a wellness event the following day, then had my dog in for minor surgery at the vets the day after. Add in living alone and trying to run a business, and it all became a bit much. I’m not sharing this for sympathy, it’s simply life, and a life I’m grateful to have chosen. Eventually, I realised I had to cancel my appointments for that week and admitted to myself that I was exhausted, overstimulated and overwhelmed, and I knew I needed to step back, rest and recharge. It did make me reflect on what many of us are really looking for when we talk about health and longevity. Not perfection. Not endless optimisation. Just more energy. More resilience. And the feeling of being more like ourselves again. Sometimes the body and mind aren’t asking for more. They’re asking for support 🤎 The world is moving way too fast for my liking! 24/06/2026
