A few days ago, I was asked to post on facebook about my business as a wig consultant. This is a vocation in my life brought about, after my daughter Manon, was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Her cancer, 3 yrs of treatment and her subsequent remission made me realise how life is so short and how we so take it for granted. Wigs & Co was born out of this dark period of our lives and has been a labour of love for me ever since. 18 yrs on, I see children, teenagers, men and women on a daily basis who are battling cancer and have lost their hair as a result of their treatment. For each client who comes to my salon, they have my undivided attention. I only ever see clients on a one to one basis. Very often there is tears, disbelief and denial . My appointments are never timed and 1 hours with one person can be the norm. My vow to these people is to ensure that they leave with a wig that not only makes them happy but their family too. I carry a comprehensive stock of over 500 wigs. Most wig salons would say this is bad business sense as your profit is tied up in stock. I say it is a necessity, as my aim is to ensure EVERYONE leaves with their wig on the day. No return journeys, no waiting and as stress free as possible. Very often, once the client leaves, I never hear from them. So it was with great pleasure that I received a message from a past client that had a brain tumour. After her op to remove as much of the tumour as possible, there followed a lengthy stay in hospital to rehabilitate and start chemotherapy, Intense chemo was then followed by radiotherapy. Her hair loss resulted in her coming to see me and choose a beautiful long red wig, which matched her personality and vibrancy, despite that dark period. Her message to me this week, was to say she was in REMISSION!. x

The new Aria sold straight away and it looks amazing on my client. The colour too, which is new just has the right amount of of shades for that expensive salon colour look. Still some appointments left for this week and the weekend. Message me for a quick reply on 07817262798z
