SPRING SHEDDING SEASON IS HERE
If you or your clients have noticed more lashes shedding lately, don’t panic this is completely normal.
Natural lashes follow a growth cycle and typically shed every 6–10 weeks. During spring and autumn, many people experience increased shedding as the body adjusts to seasonal changes.
For clients without extensions this often goes unnoticed, but with lash extensions it can appear more obvious because multiple natural lashes may reach the end of their cycle at the same time.
Hormones, thyroid changes, stress and medication can also influence the lash cycle and increase temporary shedding.
For lash artists, this simply means clients may need slightly more frequent infills during shedding season to maintain fullness.
