This is probably the most frequent question I find in my messages when booking for facials & I can see why as there’s not really one answer suits all! Acne scars are stubborn, and no single treatment is best for everyone. One or a combination of the following approaches might improve the appearance of your skin, depending on your scar type, your skin type and the severity of the scarring.

✨ Home skin care. Using sunscreen can help limit the contrast between unscarred skin and a scar.
✨ Chemical peel. This service applies a chemical solution to the scar tissue to remove the top layer of skin and minimize the appearance of deeper scars. I usually recommend 4-6 weeks in between treatments & a home skincare routine to follow
✨ Microneedling (one of my ultimate faves) can serve as an alternative for chemical peels depending on your preferences & what your skin can tolerate
✨ Retinol works on both the surface and middle layers of the skin to unclog pores, smooth scars, and improve tone and texture.
✨ Niacinamide has many benefits & is included in some of the products I use for facials as well as in your home care packages to use every day
