Hello, I thought I’d reintroduce myself. I’m Claire Thornhill, the proud owner of The Beauty Retreat at Thurnham Hall. I’ve been based here for almost 11 years and have worked as a beauty therapist for over 20 years.

I truly love what I do. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is building relationships with my clients and helping them take time out to relax, reset and feel their very best. My favourite treatments have to be facials — I love seeing the transformation in someone’s skin and creating a calm, luxurious space where they can completely switch off.

The biggest compliment I can receive is when a client becomes so relaxed they drift off to sleep during their treatment.

When I’m not in the salon, I’m a busy wife and mummy to two little ones, as well as our two fur babies. I also enjoy keeping fit, focusing on health and wellbeing, and spending time eating out with family and friends.
