56 years isnt easy in buisness as any buisness owner will tell you! It might look all hunky dory from the outside but its a slog which ive only realised in the last 8 years of me being a buisness owner! Ive loved this shop for the last 24 years, since brian took me on and taught me too be a barber and not a hairdresser. Brian and his team back then were champions in the barbering world, winning lots of awards and julie one of those winners is still with us now 35 years later! Ive worked with some great barbers in this shop who are all still friends and im sure many who have worked in this shop and with brian can bare testament too his teaching and professional approach to the buisness! As too our clients, many of which have been with us since the very beginning or for a very long time, our newer clients, our student clients we are truelly grateful and hope we can continue to provide good hair, professionalism and a bit of a laugh in a comfortable environment, last but not least thanks Adele Louise Taylor..Roxanne Hammond...Julie Bora..

We at the independent barbers are so extremely sad to hear of the passing of Tracey reeves , Tracey was a much loved staff member of carnforth high school of over 20 years , Tracey was also a much loved wife of Andrew and I can’t even explain how much Tracey adored her son Micheal …. Tracey , we will miss you sitting in our window whilst Micheal or Andrew got a haircut, your obsession for football , your adoration for your son , your beautiful outlook on life , we’ll always remember you … from all of us… you’ll always be missed ❤️
