Important Major Road Closure Update!

From Friday 1st August Langport Town Council has been notified that due to essential works, the railway bridge on the A378 between Eastover and The Avenue (by Tesco), necessitates the need for the road to be closed for the whole of August.

This will create a significant disruption to the town and will impact our customers and appointments.

Please be aware if you have an appointment in August in may be wise to allow extra time for your journey as the detour WILL cause delays and I cannot accept any longer than 10 minutes late to any appointment as this tend to have a knock on effect through the rest of the days appointments.

This is the only viable way I can see to keep costs low and pass the savings onto you as customers.

I’m getting a lot of people turning up late for their appointments because they’re not checking their appointment times or getting their alerts.

The system is set up to give you a nudge the day before so you can cancel or edit them, go into app settings and make sure you’re getting alerts as it’s causing issues for those that are arriving on time and having to wait when they should be in the chair, also causes myself to lose break times etc.
