Our hearts are broken as we share that yesterday, our brave wee warrior Robbie sadly lost his long battle with cancer and gained his angel wings. 💔😢

Robbie faced this horrible disease for years with incredible courage. He was so proud of Scotland and loved his country dearly, so we have placed Scotland flags in our salon windows in his honour—a tribute to a wee warrior who touched so many hearts. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤍💙

Everyone at LPerfection sends their love to Claire, Dean, the kids and all of Robbie’s family at this heartbreaking time. Our community is holding you close in our thoughts and hearts.

🇨🇳 CHINA – DAY 2 🇨🇳

What a day! ❤️

We had some free time this morning, so Kerry and I made the most of it and headed to the Forbidden City for a guided tour. What an incredible experience! The history and culture here are fascinating, and getting to actually stand in places we’ve only ever seen in pictures was pretty special. We even got to enjoy it in 28-degree heat! ☀️

Of course, we couldn’t leave Beijing without trying the famous Peking Duck! 🦆 So for lunch we headed to a Michelin-starred restaurant and WOW… genuinely the most amazing duck I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely delicious!

Then it was time to say goodbye to Beijing and head to the train station for our 4-hour bullet train journey to our next destination. 🚄 Another experience ticked off the list — and what an experience it was!

It’s now almost 1am here in China, and we’re finally heading to bed because tomorrow is where the real work begins! 🙌🏼

Tomorrow we visit our first hair factory, and I honestly cannot wait to see behind the scenes, learn more about the entire process and start getting closer to finding exactly what we’ve travelled all this way for. 🤎

Day 1 in China 🇨🇳 ✈️

What a day! 🇨🇳❤️

We made it to Beijing after honestly one of the easiest long-haul flights we’ve ever done. The flight was excellent from start to finish, which was the perfect start to our trip!

We’re definitely feeling the jet lag and adjusting to the 30-degree heat 🥵😂 but we’ve settled in brilliantly.

I’ll say this… China is NOT what I expected! I’m not even sure what I expected, but it definitely wasn’t this! 😍

The food, the city and the people have been absolutely fantastic so far. And in so many ways, they genuinely feel years ahead of us. We are absolutely loving it! 🇨🇳

I’m far too tired to make a video tonight, so here are some photos from our first day to give you a little glimpse instead 📸❤️

Tomorrow we’re off to explore the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square before heading to Beijing South Station to catch the bullet train to our next destination! 🚄
