Collagen and elastin are essential for youthful skin, but as you age, your skin creates less and less of it which results in fine lines and wrinkles.

Collagen is a protein that’s found throughout your entire body. It helps connect and support all your tissues from skin and muscles to bones and tendons. It helps keep your skin firm and supple.

Elastin is another protein but it’s found in the connective tissue that gives your skin and organs structure. It’s the key to keeping your skin in good shape even after it has stretched or contracted.
