Glyphosate use in UK farming increases by 1,000% since 1990 - Pesticide Action Network UK 09/04/2026

Glyphosate is an ingredient in so much of the food we eat, yet you will not see it listed on any labels. It is a hidden contamination from the liberal use of this chemical as a herbicide in farming.

If you want a culprit for the huge increase in chronic inflammatory diseases, look no further. This chemical has been linked to kidney and liver disease, hormone disruption, digestive dysfunction (it has antibiotic like qualities) and neurological disease.

In the US, billions of dollars have been paid out to cancer-sufferers who claimed glyphosate caused their cancers.

Reduce your daily exposure by eating more organically grown produce especially cereal grains, which are particularly heavily sprayed.

Glyphosate use in UK farming increases by 1,000% since 1990 - Pesticide Action Network UK The amount of glyphosate being applied to UK crops has risen from 200 metric tonnes per year in 1990 to more than 2,200 tonnes in 2024.

This is an interesting read about the link between high prolactin levels and increased sensitivity of pain receptors in the body, which may exacerbate issues such as migraine and period pain.
I test hormone levels with Bioresonance and often find prolactin imbalance in my clients. Dopamine and oestrogen have a direct effect on prolactin so need to be considered too.

Emerging evidence suggests prolactin is much more than a pituitary hormone. It's also produced locally by the spinal cord and immune system, where it can change how pain receptors respond, making even mild signals feel painful, and potentially contributing to PMS, migraines, and pelvic pain, including endometriosis pain.

Prolactin is supposed to be kept in check by dopamine, but when dopamine signalling drops (e.g, late luteal and with chronic stress), prolactin can rise. Prolactin also rises with higher estrogen.

You can support more sustained dopamine (and therefore lower prolactin) with strategies like outdoor light, social connection, moving the body, magnesium, zinc, iron, and vitamin B6. (Scientists are also working on how to block or downregulate prolactin.)

Here are a couple of articles about the potential role of prolactin in pain, migraines, and endometriosis:
• Identifying a link between prolactin and female pain: https://healthsciences.arizona.edu/news/stories/identifying-link-between-prolactin-and-female-pain
• Prolactin-induced sensitization of trigeminal nociceptors promotes migraine co-morbidity in endometriosis: https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/03331024241313378

RFK Jr. Flips the Food Pyramid 08/01/2026

I haven't posted in a loong time! I find the less time spent on social media the better for health, and this is what I recommend to my clients, so it feels a bit hypocritical to be producing lots of content.

This is worth sharing though. In a world which feels chaotic right now, some common sense is prevailing.

US Health Secretary RFK has just inverted the official guidelines on healthy eating. The new US food pyramid puts protein, dairy, healthy fats, vegetables and fruit at the top, with grains at the bottom.

This is so significant. I have been recommending this way of eating to my clients for years. It helps weight loss, inflammation, hormone balance, skin health, digestion....and more. I really hope the UK government takes note and makes similar changes in the near future.

RFK Jr. Flips the Food Pyramid U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. today unveiled new dietary guidelines for Americans. The new U.S. food pyramid puts protein, dairy, healthy fats, vegetables and fruit at the top, with grains at the bottom.

My first online sessions of my Low Tox Living Course are happening this March!

This is essentially my test run of all my material in an online format. It has worked well so far at my face to face workshops, but this is a chance to roll it out to a wider audience. If you would like to be in my first cohort then I would LOVE to hear from you!

This course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn more about living a life with less chemicals. I talk a lot to my clients about how important it is that the TERRAIN of the body is good. If it is not, then weeds will grow, we will not heal and thrive.

The many thousands of chemicals we are exposed to on a daily basis are slowly destroying that inner terrain. At which point, take your pick of which health issues may results... hormonal, digestive, autoimmune, neurological, developmental... But the root cause of any named condition, will lie in the terrain in which it has developed.

In the course, I cover key areas of daily exposure to toxins over which we have the most control...

Food
Water (filtering options discussed)
Cleaning and home products
Skincare and personal care
Sun cream
Hair care
Fragrances
Mattresses, bedding, furniture
Cookware
Plastics
Electromagnetic sources

The classes will run via zoom on Monday evenings 7pm - 8pm
6th March
13th March
20th March
27th March

Recordings will be available if you are unable to listen live. There will be time for Q&A and an optional 45 minute one to one session with me on completion for all participants to focus on personal concerns.

This is a one time offer of £55 - a 50% discount on the future price

This initial intake will be limited to 20 places.

Please contact me to book your place - [email protected] or send me a message via FB

I have only just discovered this quote, and am pleased to have done so. It helps affirm the path my therapy has taken over the last few years. I have moved away from pure nutrition and supplement advice (though this is still a big part of my early appointments with clients). I now incorporate "energy medicine" as an integral part of my consultations in the form of Bioresonance.

Bioresonance is the use of frequency to both assess and support the body. I have found it to be revolutionary, both personally and professionally. I use it in every consultation with every client to help identify main issues and guide a strategy forward.

Embrace winter with these daily practices for a healthy mind, body and spirit…
- Get outside as much as possible during the day, especially if the sun comes out. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a recognised condition – a type of depression caused by lack of sunlight and changes to the body’s circadian rhythm. Getting as much exposure to real daylight as possible can be so helpful.
- Prioritise sleep. Go to bed earlier and, if possible, lie in later. Don’t feel guilty about this. Sleep is a time for the body to regenerate and renew. We need so much energy during winter to support a healthy immune response. One word of warning – please flick your mobile phone onto flight mode at night. So many people sleep next to their phones. The wi-fi, Bluetooth and mobile data signals your phone emits interfere strongly with deep restorative sleep. It will still work as an alarm clock in flight mode.
- Eat nourishing food. Cooked food is better than raw in winter. It requires less energy to digest and provides the body with warmth and easy to assimilate nutrients. Soups, stews, curries are all perfect.
- Drink plenty. Good hydration is important for kidney health. In Chinese Medicine the kidneys are the primary source of vitality, energy and inner heat. Warm or room temperature drinks are best.
- Make time to reflect, breathe, meditate. Nourish your inner spirit to generate more strength and resilience for the cold months ahead.
- I use essential oils in my home for both practical applications and also their mood lifting and immune boosting properties. Diffusing citrus oils like lemon and orange with spicy oils such as clove or cinnamon is an especially good combination for positive mood and boosting immunity.
- I would also recommend a few key supplements. In an ideal world, we would obtain all our nutrients from good healthy food. I'm not sure that's entirely possible these days however as food is less nutrient dense than it once was and life is ever more demanding of our energy and mental resilience. So a good multivitamin with some extra vitamin D, vitamin C, and zinc is a great place to start in boosting your reserves.

New Groundbreaking Clinical Results on Modified Citrus Pectin in Prostate Cancer 17/11/2022

Modified Citrus Pectin is a pretty amazing supplement. More research emerges all the time on its benefits.
I've started using it recently personally and with clients - mainly for detox purposes - binding metals, moulds and environmental chemicals in the body.
It works by blocking the protein galectin 3. This is naturally produced by the body, but if levels rise out of control, due to factors such as illness, injury or normal aging, then a cascade of inflammation ensues.
MCP can bind to galectin 3 and halt this inflammation. So, it is both detoxing and anti-inflammatory - we definitely need more of both of those processes in modern life!
It is made via a process involving the peel of citrus fruits.
Definitely a supplement to watch out for!

I still have 2 spaces remaining on my upcoming Low Tox Living workshop on Saturday 19th November at Odyssey Clinic, Leamington Spa.

This is perfect for anyone wanting to make healthy changes in their lives by reducing exposure to synthetic chemicals, but not sure exactly where to start. Or you may have already made a start and want to take it a step further.

I will give lots of practical information on how to live a life with less toxins, including what to avoid, better brands, and two make and take sessions to show you how easy it is to make your own organic and effective cleaning and skincare products.

Reducing your chemical exposure is so important for supporting long term better health and for directly helping to overcome specific health issues. Synthetic chemicals have been linked to everything from cancer to PMS, eczema to IBS, autoimmune disease to headaches... and so much more!

This trio of essential oils is great for allergies and calming an acute allergic reaction.
My daughter had one last night. Suddenly her lips swelled and throat and chest tightened up. I'm still not sure of the exact cause. I applied one drop of each oil on the sole of each of her feet. Then I mixed a further drop of each oil with carrier oil and applied along her spine. I put a drop of each oil in a glass of water with some powdered vit c. She sipped a bit of that.
Throughout I also treated her with some immune and histamine calming Bioresonance frequencies. And I did my very best to keep her calm...stress hormones stimulate histamine.
It took 30 mins for symptoms to settle down.
I love my essential oil tool kit for these acute situations. I have lots in my collection, but I would recommend Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint as a great place to start for anyone interested in natural remedies.

I run one to one or small group workshops to teach how to use essential oils therapeutically. Please get in touch if interested.
