My last working day is Friday 25th October and I am almost booked up now until then!
I know lots of you are trying to get organised for whilst I’m on maternity leave and have been asking for some recommendations…so here we are.
But please don’t worry, as well as these, there are lots of great hairdressers in the area and I’m sure you’ll be well looked after!
I will happily write up any colour history for you to hand over to your next stylist to make your colour transition as easy as possible.

I’m not exactly sure when I’ll be back yet but will look forward to seeing some of you on my return (but equally please don’t feel any pressure…if you find a perfect match for you and don’t rush back I won’t be offended 😅)

Our journey hasn’t been easy but we are so so grateful to be where we are now 🥹
And although she’s got used to the only child life, we know Margot will be the best big sister there is ❤️
They say the best things in life are worth waiting and working hard for and we really hope this gives hope to others.

🤎 It does mean I will be taking some maternity leave from the end of October to spring/summer ‘25 but I have some lovely recommendations lined up to look after you all whilst I’m off. Whilst I don’t want to take too much time away from a business that I have grown over the last 13 years, equally I don’t want to regret not having some time with our much longed for baby 🤎

🤎 Also an apology for all of you that I have had to shuffle, reschedule and cancel in this process for medical appointments during our treatment…and for all of the little white lies (especially in recent weeks) after some early scares we wanted to get to a safer point before sharing this news with you all 🤎

It may have taken 13 years but I think I’ve found that thing called balance and I am SO here for it!

Can you believe it’s been thirteen years!! And what a thirteen years it’s been 🥹 I’m so proud of little 20 year old me launching myself into the big world of self employment and somehow making it work!
My business is literally built on the foundation of THE most loyal and loving clients and I am so grateful for every single one of you!

NEW YEAR NEW HAIR 💁🏻‍♀️

Guess what?! I now work ‘full time’ for the first time in my life 🥳
My new hours have started (apart from a few appointments that were booked before) and I’m soooo ready for an amazing year in salon AND out of salon 🙌🏼
I take great comfort in knowing that the gazillion hours a week I’ve worked over the almost 13 (!) years of The Vanity Box are what have enabled me to build an awesome clientele, brand and business. But now I’m so ready to find the balance 🫶🏼

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

Back to work with a bang for me today. Introducing a new online booking system! I know many of you have got used to online booking now and you will hopefully find this new system very user friendly 🙂

It also has a waiting list function which should make things a lot easier if you can’t get the slot you want. As before you will be able to book up to 4 months in advance and this is always advised to get the slot you’d like.
