The school bags have been packed away, the alarms are (mostly!) switched off, and six weeks of sunshine, adventures, snack requests and making memories begins. 💛

Here at Cuts & Clobber, we’ll be adding extra appointments wherever we can to help keep up with the summer rush, and you might even spot a few extra little helping hands around the salon over the next six weeks. 🥰

One of the greatest gifts of owning this little business is being able to raise my children alongside it. They get to grow up surrounded by kindness, laughter, incredible families and a community that has supported us from day one.

It isn’t always easy juggling mum life and business life, but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. 🤍

When I first started at Cuts & Clobber, I was young, carefree and didn’t have children. Fast forward and life looks very different. I’ve taken over the salon, become a mum to beautiful children, and grown more than I ever imagined.

Everything I do now is for them.

I want them to grow up knowing that with hard work, kindness and determination, anything is possible. More than anything, I just hope they look back one day and feel proud of what we’ve built together.

Being a mum is the most incredible job in the world… but it’s also the hardest. Most days I’m running on iced coffee, snacks and sheer determination. 😅

That’s exactly why Cuts & Clobber has become so much more than a children’s hair salon.

We’re here for the whole family.

If you need five minutes of peace while we keep your little one entertained, we’ve got you. If you’ve had a tough day and just need someone to listen, we’re here. If your child needs a little extra patience, a cuddle, or just someone who understands, we promise to meet them where they are.

You never really know what someone is carrying behind the scenes, so if we can make your day just a little bit easier, that’s what we’ll always try to do.

We’re more than just a hair salon… we’re a family salon, run for families, by a mum who understands just how important it is for little ones to feel safe, happy and understood. 🤍

Children are at the heart of everything we do. From those emotional first haircuts, to back-to-school trims, birthday pamper days, and even prom hair, it’s a privilege to be part of so many special milestones.

We know that sitting still isn’t every child’s favourite thing to do, and that’s okay! We work with your child, never against them, taking the time to find what helps them feel comfortable and confident.

It was such a privilege to bring the beautiful Lacie’s prom hair vision to life. 💕

One of the things I love most about what we do at Cuts & Clobber is being part of so many special milestones. From those tiny first haircuts with lots of cuddles and reassurance, to starting school, crazy hair days, birthdays, and now… prom. 🥹

Watching the children who walk through our doors grow into confident young people is something we’ll never take for granted. It’s such an honour to be trusted with these precious moments.
