I know that the thought of going to a salon can be really worrying for a lot of people for a lot of reasons!

Personally the thing that always put me off was the idea of having to talk to a stranger for such a long time and not knowing what to say 😩 I’m an introvert so it always made me feel on edge feeling like I have to constantly be chatting to avoid any awkwardness!

All of this left me feeling quite stressed and as much as I loved to get my nails done it was the talking part that I really hated!

That’s why when I set up Nails by Soph I’ve always had the option of a silent appointment. This means that you can come in, have a quick chat about what you’re looking to get out of your appointment, choose your colours and nail shape and then I’ll leave you to it for the remainder of the appointment!

And you can do whatever makes you feel most comfortable, whether thats putting on headphones and catching up on your podcasts, or watching Netflix on your phone, you are more than welcome to do so!

I am home based so that means I can tailor the atmosphere to suit your needs 😊

Everyone deserves nice, healthy nails!

Looking after your hands and nails regularly is just as important as looking after any other part of you! I mean your hands go through a lot on a day to day and having a regular manicures will keep your hands and nails in tip top condition.

I offer manicures with and without gel polish so whether you just would like a tidy up, or go wild with a bright neon colour for summer (I mean festival season is upon us 👀) then why not book in today!

I am home based which means all appointments are one to one, so you can feel relaxed in a completely judgement free environment and you’re never rushed out of the door as I take my time to give you the best service possible!

Bit of summer sparkle to bring us into the weekend! 😍

So you work all week and then have 2 days to fit your real life in! Your weekend can very quickly get taken up with doing all the boring stuff - the shopping, cleaning the house, general adulting that you’ve been putting off all week 😅

And then you also wanna make time for friends and family, get some social time in and of course some good ol’ self care, maybe in the form of getting pampered at a nail salon? 👀

But the thing is you can be there for a couple of hours and when you have such little time to start with do you really have a couple more hours to spare? 🥲

But most nail salons are closed during the week after you’ve finished work so what then?

Well, that’s where I come in! 😍

I have evening appointments available from 6:30pm during the week, so you can come to me after work, have your nails done, feel amazing AND not have to worry about carving time out of your weekend for some self care 😌

Life is so stressful at the minute for lots of us! Kids, work, family, friends.. it can all just get a bit much!

That’s why all of my appointments are centred around relaxing and switching off from the outside world!

I work from home so I can easily create a chilled atmosphere and it’s just me and you throughout the whole appointment so there’s nothing to disturb you 🥰

Plus, I make the best brews (including the best iced caramel lattes may I add 👀) and I’ve always got loads of snacks and treats on hand!
