Sweeney Todds Barber Shop Leeds

Wednesday 26th July marks 30 years since the opening of Sweeney Todds Barbershop. It’s been a fantastic journey and we want to thank all the amazing customers over the last 30 years, sharing their lives and stories with us, that have made it happen. Heres to the next 30 🤪!!!!!

Now then,so it’s that time to say what’s happening!!

As of 5pm today (5th April) Boris has made his announcement and he’s given us the green light to open on the 12th April

So we will be in the shop on Wednesday 7th April-between 11am and 2pm-taking appointment’s for when we do open. (0113 2940444)

We really do appreciate your patience regarding us being forced to close and unable to see everyone,however now we are able to open we hope you understand that we will try our upmost to accommodate everyone,but whilst most hero’s wear capes we try and be a little more conservative!!

Firstly welcome to 2021 and we hope you and your family are all well!!

This is just another message to let you know what’s going on regarding the news on lockdown and Sweeney Todd’s (so no need to reply).
We as many of other businesses have been told to close until mid February at the earliest, we find this very upsetting but we have no other choice so I apologise for this inconvenience. We hope this is the last time it will happen so we can get back to a normal life and enjoy ourselves.

Right then boys n girls,we have been given the okay to open up again on the 2nd December,just like all the essential shops etc etc.

So we will be in the shop taking calls for up and coming appointments on Saturday 28th November from 11am until 2pm.

This will be a busy time so please be patient and we will do our best-we’ve all gone this far so let’s stick to what we have to do,otherwise it’ll be close down again!!

And spare a thought for all those that can’t open their businesses -(we are the lucky ones) -indoor sporting/pubs/restaurants/clubs etc,so let’s get all this sorted,and they can also get back to looking after you,and back earning a living also.

Once again we are in lockdown, but they have given us a return date of 2nd December-it’s only 4 weeks rather than 15 weeks, (if this happens)-so we will post on here what will happen before that date, but other than that hopefully we will be able to open like all the essential shops (Home Bargains, B and M, Smyths toy store, car washes etc) and get back to seeing and helping all our friends/clients/customers with all you need-in the meantime we hope your all well and we’ll see you soon, take care all-Richard, Ryan and Dean (the demon barbers)

Due to ever changing times and work for all (ie people being called back into work etc) we have been having a few cancellations ‘here and there’ throughout the week-so please call the shop (0113 2940444) and we’ll gladly try and get you booked in!!

So,here we go again!,

The powers in charge have once again changed the criteria on what you can/can’t do-SO,you now have to wear a face mask (again) while entering the shop-we are sorry to be implementing this once again,but we are adhering to what we are advised to do to keep you and ourselves safe and well!!

So-if you don’t have a face mask (which are available to purchase everywhere)-then we will be required to take your temperature upon entering the premises-although we must say that we only have ‘rectal thermometers’ available!!😉🤣

So,it’s been almost a month since we opened and we would like to thank everyone for all your support and help in the past 4 weeks!
As you may now know guidelines have changed over the last week regarding what is needed inside shops etc.
It is slightly different for barbers/hairdressers as face masks are not mandatory for customers inside (but if you do feel better wearing one then we will gladly work round what’s best for every individual) although we do still have to wear face visors for your safety and ours.
We are sticking to the appointment system and it seems to be working very well,however as people’s lives/work lives are changing rapidly day by day we may have cancellations throughout the day/week and it’s best to give us a call (0113 2940444) to see if we can help you out and get you booked in!!
