Happy 12 Years to us, what a last year it’s been, a massive massive thank you to our loyal clients for supporting us, without you it would not be possible. Basement 68 - Traditional Men's Barbers - Leeds Established in 2009, Basement 68 is a contemporary hair salon based in Leeds city centre. We offer a range of men's treatments including hot towel shaves.

Saturday was a first wearing of this years Tour de Aky 106.6 miles charity ride Jersey’s 14 riders were on a training ride York to Scarborough back to York. The official ride is 11th of Sept for the remembrance of PC 1066 Michael AKY Atkinson. Hence the 106.6miles.

The ride also raises awareness of Mental Health, and the charities the ride raises funds for are MIND, LEEDS RHINOS FOUNDATION & THE YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE

2020 has been a freak year due to covid and the ride has been put back and put back twice due to restrictions. We still hope to raise funds for the charities and remember so a great friend, son, brother, fiancé, Dad, uncle, grandson and colleague to many.

The shop will re-open on Tuesday the 7th july

We can't wait to see you guys back in the shop

We hope you all understand things will be different for a while and we'll need you to follow these new procedures.

- Book online or call the shop. No walk-ins

- Beard trims are off the menu for now until we get more guidance

- We require you to arrive no earlier than 5mins before your appointment, alone (1 parent per under 15 alowed)

- We need you to wear a mask to enter, if you don't have one we have a limited supply

- We have a new, strict de-contamination process designed to protect you, please be patient

- We need you to keep all your belongings with you throughout the service

- We will sanitize your hands before your appointment

- Your hair will be washed

- Our restroom will be closed to the public

- No refreshments are to be supplied or consumed in the shop

- Payments will be taken from the section

- There will be a slight increase in price to cover PPE and new government restrictions
(This will reduce when/if new measures are no longer necessary)

A massive thank you to all clients for your fantastic support over the years, without you we wouldn’t be here. 11 years wow it’s flown and it may not be the celebration we anticipated for because of these unprecedented times.

Unfortunately we have had to come to the very sad decision to announce we will not be working as from today. We feel its the most sensible choice given to the present situation of the Covid-19 virus and the advice from the government.

As the Coronavirus is causing havoc. But don't fear here at Basement 68 Barber we are still opening but we are staggering open days to help people still get cuts.

We do ask that if you are not feeling your best please stay at home. We are taking all the precautions needed keeping the shop clean and germ free.

To book in check our online booking system as the days a set for when we are open.
