It’s best to leave a minimum of 8 weeks between sessions because that’s when the “magic“ 🪄 happens.
Well…it’s not actually magic 🐰 it’s your own immune system🩸that is getting rid of the small ink 🫟 particles out of your body!! 🥊

What’s in the pigment? We don’t know! Are the ingredients regulated? We don’t know! How quickly can we remove it? We don’t know!
Luckily I’m experienced enough to warn clients before they start their journey that the removal can go one of two ways….
Fade like a dream or hang on for dear life! This one is being an absolute pain but we are slowly getting there and my lovely client has plenty of patience ☺️

No tattoo removal doesn’t take just one session!!!

If you’ve seen photos or videos of laser tattoo removal, you might notice the treated area turning white straight away. This is called frosting (or whitening) and it’s a completely normal part of the process.

The laser breaks the tattoo ink into tiny particles, and in the process, little gas bubbles form just under the skin’s surface. Those bubbles rise up, giving the area a white or frosted look.

Sometimes it looks like the tattoo has gone BUT its hasn’t! Not yet. Frosting is only temporary and usually disappears a short time after treatment. Real fading happens very very gradually, as your body clears away the broken-down ink over the weeks/months/years that follow.

B I G 🖤 tattoos need to be broken into multiple sittings because your body can only deal with so much ink at one time!
B I G 🖤tattoos take YEARS to remove. So if you’re toying with the idea get started NOW!!!

Remember once the laser has broken down the ink into smaller particles, it’s your bodies immune system that flushes them out and between each session we leave a minimum of 8 weeks for this to happen!!

I have an incredibly advanced (and very expensive!) Lynton laser that allows me to do the work I love and get my clients the amazing results they want - But with something so intricate, things can and do go wrong — and I never know when.
I’m really putting this here to calm myself down because although it’s me cancelling appointments it’s the last thing I want to be doing. I’m self employed and this is my income and I rely on this piece of kit, and now all I can do is wait for a phone call tomorrow to arrange for a member of the technical team to come out - this can take ⏰ and yes💰!!

I hate letting people down. I know it’s frustrating for clients, and it gives me so much anxiety. You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but it never gets easier.

Any clients reading this; thank-you so much for always being so patient. It doesn’t happen often but when it does I appreciate your understanding!! 💜
