A little lesson about weight loss and how your lashes can react when you don't eat enough protein.

💉 If you're on Ozempic, Mounjaro, Retatrutide or other GLP-1 meds and suddenly your lashes are falling out – it might not be the glue.

Less food = less protein, iron and zinc.
Rapid weight loss = stress for your body.
And that can push your lashes into a shedding phase (telogen effluvium).

So if your lash comes off together with your natural one and they're looking thinner – your body is probably asking for more nutrients.

WHY CAN A CLASSIC REFILL TAKE ALMOST AS MUCH WORK AS A NEW SET?

These are real photos after just 2 weeks — and they show exactly what clients don't normally see.

Your natural lashes continuously grow and shed. As they grow, the extensions attached to them move further away from the lash line.

Still attached doesn't mean still suitable to keep.

During a professional refill, I don't simply add extensions into the visible gaps.

Every lash has to be assessed. Grown-out extensions are carefully removed, naturally shed lashes are replaced, new growth is lashed, and the shape, direction and balance of the whole set are rebuilt.

And this is the important part:

Once the grown-out extensions are removed, considerably less of the original set may actually be suitable to keep.

So what looked like "plenty of lashes left" can become a significant amount of work.

That's why the price of a Classic refill isn't calculated by simply looking at how many extensions are still attached.

You're paying for the time, precision and professional work required to maintain the set correctly — while protecting your natural lashes.

Leaving unsuitable grown-out extensions would be quicker.

But my standard isn't quicker. It's doing the job properly.
