The team at Eckersley House received a wonderful donation of £151 from Rachel and her daughter Phebee, both long-term supporters of our 'Home from Home'. They raised the money at 1986 Hair Studio and through book sales. A big thank you for all the support!

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a lovely weekend, I know I did I got Mother’s Day with my girls 🌸

In other news, as of the 1st April, I will be bringing a new cancellation policy. From this date I will require at least 48 hours' notice if you wish to cancel your appointment, otherwise a 50% charge of your booked treatment will be added to your following one.

If no notice is given and you simply don’t turn up, unless it is under extenuating circumstances, 100% of your treatment cost will be required to be paid before you book your next appointment.

This has been by no means an easy decision but given increasing costs and lost revenue from missed appointments, I have put this policy in place to safeguard my business.

Hello November!

After a few days off last weeks, I was greeted on Friday with a break in at my salon.

Everyone is ok and it’s more the inconvenience that is frustrating me at the moment. Which leads me to a few little bits for anyone with any upcoming appointments over the next few days:

🍂 CCTV is now in operation at the salon

🍂 A new door is getting fitted so might have a slight disruption, please be careful when entering the salon

🍂 Charity money will no longer be held at the salon

🍂 No valuables will be held at the salon

🏝🏖 Just a little note as it’s the start of my girls summer holidays tomorrow.

🎊 1986 Hair Studio is 2! 🎊

I know it’s been a strange year meaning I couldn’t celebrate last year so I am today! It’s 2 years today that I welcomed my first customer to my very own shop and I’m so glad I made that move.

A massive thank you to everyone who has supported my small business adventure so far, I’m truly grateful.

Here’s my opening hours for this week so if your walking past pop in and say hello 👋

Wednesday: 09:30 - 16:30
Thursday: 09:30 - 20:00
Friday: 09:30 - 14:30
Saturday: 08:00 - 16:00
Sunday: Closed

I’ve not posted on here for a while with my hours but will be going forward now we are starting to get back to a little bit more normal times.
