❤Some days I'm a barber... and some days I get to be part of something a little more special.

Yesterday was one of those days.

I got to help this beautiful lady fall back in love with her hair again 😍✨ Seeing that smile, that confidence, and that little spark return is exactly why I love what I do.

Hair isn't just hair—it's how we feel when we look in the mirror. And yesterday's transformation was all about bringing that feeling back. 💫

Safe to say, she left with gorgeous hair and a whole lot of confidence. ❤️

People used to say “you’ll never keep Grandad’s customers” … and honestly, when I first started, I believed them 😅💈

Because taking over from a man whose flat tops were practically local legend status was terrifying enough… never mind trying to keep hold of HIS most loyal customer ✂️

Yet here we are, FIFTEEN years later, and Big Al is still under my roof asking for the same flat top like we’ve both not aged a day 👏🏻😂

I’m convinced at this point he stayed the first year just to help build me (you dont get taught a flat top at college...) the second year to honour me (can you freehand a flat top??) and now he just comes for the banter (cos I mastered his flat top way back then... only because he had the patience to let me teach ME!!!) 🤣☕️

But truthfully, loyalty like that means everything to me. 💙

From Grandad’s chair to mine, that trust has never been taken for granted.💫

Proof really is in the pudding — because if Grandad’s number one flat top customer is still rocking with me 15 years later, I must be doing something right 😉

Bittersweet this one… losing yet another loyal customer to Australia 😩 but honestly, I couldn’t be happier for him starting his new chapter.

Final sitting in my chair before the big move and we sent him off properly 👌

The works done: fresh trim, hot towels, steam, massage, full luxury treatment — no holding back for the farewell appointment 💈🔥

And not even settled in yet before I get the message…
