Alicia started with us right at the beginning of Millow Haus. Leaving a secure employed position to finally take the plunge into self employment. It’s not an easy process to build a business for yourself, but Alicia has gone from strength to strength, mastering new techniques, pushing herself into new services and creating some incredible relationships along the way. We are all incredibly proud of her🤎

This week marks our 2nd Birthday! How fast has that time gone?!

Millow Haus would be nothing without our incredible team, we really have hit the staff jackpot.

Thank you guys for creating such a warm and welcoming space which we’re proud to call home 🤎 (home because we never leave, might as well pitch a few beds in the back)

Hustle culture needs to STOP.

It’s not always 100% everyday.

We are not robots. Yet anyway.

Remember, nothing and I mean nothing, can run at 100% capacity 100% of the time - was it last year Facebook and Instagram just stopped working and everyone went into a panic?🤣

Please can everyone take time to remind their fathers, brothers, sons and friends that making sexual comments, shouting through the window, or making inappropriate gestures towards a team of young women is not banter — it’s harassment.

This happens far too often, and honestly, it’s embarrassing behaviour from fully grown men.

The salon is fully covered by CCTV, and if it continues, we will start sharing footage to identify those responsible. If you’re confident enough to behave like that in public, you can be recognised publicly too.

We should be able to come to work without being made to feel uncomfortable, intimidated, or disrespected. We have some very young members of staff in salon and they shouldn’t be subjected to that either.

Hopefully this is the last time this needs to be addressed 🙌🏽
