Our final home ed session before summer! 🌿🔥
We finished by making charcoal and char cloth, practising our mini fire-lighting skills, and of course enjoying a marshmallow or two. But most importantly, we spent quality time outdoors in the woods with the wonderful new friends we've made along the way.
A great session for after school forest club at Kippax Ashtree this week. Our challenge was to make a pencil from scratch using elder. We learnt how to safely whittle and they did amazingly! We also got to use our new microscope which the kids loved. 🌱 🌷 ✏️ 🌳 😃
A summer woodland tea party this week at Kippax Ashtree for our final session of the year! We’ve made nature crowns and bracelets, weighing and measuring for making ‘cupcakes’ and read our favourite book! Happy summer holidays everyone!

Monday morning was full of fun. This is all I took today as I was so busy having fun with our wonderful families and admiring new babies coming for a chill in the woodland 🌿🥰

It’s the last full week before we begin our summer timetable at the woods.
Come and see us before we all get summer busy with our kids and camps and we hope to see you all in the woods ❤️
