My name is Mui and I'm the face behind Lumi.M Studio & Lumi.M Bridal

I, of course, don't look like this 99.9% of the time. But it's all for the 'gram!⁣
⁣
A few things about lil, actually old me⁣
🌕 I live in and am from Leeds, West Yorkshire. Having lived and travelled around most parts of the UK, Yorkshire is definitely one of the best and beautiful parts.⁣
⁣
🌕 My previous jobs have included working in a bookies (character building), chasing people for money from an office (so so boring & office body is a thing) and driving around huge areas seeing people (lonely with lots of scenery).⁣
⁣
🌕 I'm pretty geeky and love numbers, puzzles, anything science-y. Yeah, I'll do your maths homework if you ask nicely or offer me cake...⁣

🌕 ...Cake! 😍❤️ Then cake with bubble tea - Heavenly combo! ⁣

🌕 I fell into makeup and beauty as I look at people's faces with genuine awe and am utterly passionate at helping people feel amazing through creating their ideal/dream looks; making them glow and luminous from the inside out , hence the business name lumi.m - luminous mui.⁣

To finish these beauties, only a smidge of precision tinting along the baseline was used to neaten and some post wax product to soothe and protect her sensitive skin - zero makeup used and no trimming done.⁣

But it's not been without its humongous challenges and obstacles. The biggest, I've come to realise, is me.⁣
It's me and me only that gets in the way of everything I want and it's so frustrating.⁣

Fear freezes me in the path of virtually everything I do and if it wasn't for my fears I would've done all this and much more years ago.⁣

Fear of failure, judgement, looking stupid, getting it wrong, not being good enough are my biggest mind monsters and plague me everyday.⁣

The quote is one I say to myself on the daily. It helps because I know it's true! Then I take things one tiny step at a time.⁣
