A little reminder about patch testing 🤎

We’ve had a big influx of new clients recently — which we LOVE — but we’re also seeing more patch tests being left until the very last minute.

Then life happens. Work runs over. The kids are poorly. You forget. You can’t get to us.

And suddenly, your appointment can’t go ahead.

So please, don’t use the 48-hour mark as your target.

If your treatment requires a patch test, we’ll let you know when you book. You can attend up to a week before your appointment, giving you plenty of opportunity to get it done.

It is our responsibility as professionals to inform you that a patch test is required and to follow the relevant product, manufacturer and insurance protocols.

It is your responsibility to attend it.

If your patch test has not been completed within the required timeframe, we cannot simply make an exception and carry out the treatment.

No patch test = no treatment.

Please also be aware that failure to attend your patch test is not considered a valid reason for a late cancellation of your treatment appointment.

If this results in your appointment needing to be cancelled or rescheduled within our 48-hour cancellation period, our usual cancellation charges may still apply.

We give you the time and information needed to complete your patch test please don’t leave it until the last minute. 🤎

At IVORÉ, our waxing treatments are available to everyone, regardless of gender identity or expression.

You’ll notice we don’t gender our general waxing menu. The only treatments where you’ll see a gender description are our intimate waxing services, where the treatment and technique can differ depending on anatomy.

When booking, simply choose the intimate treatment that best reflects the service you require and how you identify.

No assumptions. No awkwardness. No judgement.

Just professional waxing, expert technique and a space where you can feel comfortable, respected and completely at ease.
