I remember it like it was yesterday.

One thing so many of us will never forget is the shock of watching it unfold on TV. It didn't feel real. It looked like something from a movie... but heartbreakingly, it wasn't.

I remember watching the second plane and just thinking, “Is this really happening?” The room fell silent. None of us could speak.

25 years later, those images and that feeling have never left us.

Tomorrow, we remember the lives lost, the families whose lives changed forever, the emergency services and every person affected by that terrible day.

• Your child's name
• Names printed or embroidered on backpacks, lunch bags or water bottles
• Year group or class information
• School ID cards or bus passes
• Street signs, house numbers or recognisable landmarks
• Car registration plates
• Location tags or check-ins
• School letters, timetables or personal documents in the background
• Photos taken outside your home that show where you live
• Your child's daily routine, such as where they are dropped off or collected
• Other children's faces or names without their parents' permission

Each detail may seem harmless on its own, but when combined they can reveal much more than we intended to share publicly.

We should absolutely celebrate these precious milestones and first-day memories—just with a little extra thought about what information is visible before we press "post."
