📢 Bringing research-backed exercise treatment to more people across Yorkshire.

Active Together, funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research, is helping people prepare for and recover from their cancer treatment. The service is underpinned by well-established scientific evidence that shows exercise can increase survival, improve recovery from treatment and reduce the risk of cancer coming back.

More than 4,000 people have taken part in the service, which is available in nine locations across 32 community venues in Yorkshire.

The charity's ambition is for everyone with cancer in Yorkshire to be offered the opportunity to access this ground-breaking service alongside their hospital treatment, and is continuing to expand Active Together across the region.

💙 Let’s Connect: Ovarian Cancer Peer Support in Doncaster

Target Ovarian Cancer has established a local peer-support group for women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

The group offers:

💬 A safe space to talk openly in a small group
🤝 Support from others with shared experiences
📍 Monthly face-to-face meetings at an accessible local venue
💙 A group run by volunteers from within the community
✅ Completely free to attend

📅 Meetings take place on the last Thursday of every month
⏰ 1pm–3pm
