If your looking for our little feathery old lady today, I’m very sorry to say that she passed last night and is no longer with us. Mavis came to us as a rescue hen years ago with her friend Betty from battery hen farming, she survived a bit of pneumonia and has always been the most grateful little soul for being alive. She far outlived her expected years and she has been a salon staple for years, but around 18 months on her own. I know she is the first thing some of you look for when you come and she always gave us a little laugh having a sleep at the salon window. Mavis Baker will be very much missed, our beautiful little feathery friend, well I’m just a little sad today.

Hey everyone,
I know I’ve been a little low key at the minute, I’ve just got such a lot on at the minute.
But I’m also having a major business spring clean and it feels soooo good.
But limited as my admin time is I’ve got to get my head down.
At the minute I’m spring cleaning and organising and slowly updating my online shop.
Now I’m no tech wizard for sure, but it’s getting there.
Today’s I’ve been
Updating new products to the online shop
Checking prices are up to date as you know how strict the suppliers can be
Updating images and information, giving you much more including ingredients information for both my researcher skin geek guys and gals and for my allergy suffers (i totally understand those concerns)
Making it fingers crossed 🤞 easier to navigate and linked up better, enabling you to find things via product type and skin issue where possible
Making sure that you can still order to both pick up for free, or have posted out
