Hi all,

We are desperately in need of your Help to Feed Our Animals ❤️

Gorse Hill City Farm is home to over 100 animals, and every one of them needs hay every single day to stay happy and healthy🐐🐄

This year, hay has become much more expensive than we ever expected. A single bale now costs around £8.50–£10.50 (and sometimes more!), and we’re getting through at least four bales every day. That’s a lot of hay — and it’s becoming hard for our small farm to afford.

✨Why Hay Matters✨

Hay isn’t just food — it helps keep our animals warm, healthy, and content, especially in colder months. Without enough hay, we simply can’t care for them properly.

How you Can Help well,

There are lots of ways to support us:

🌾 Donate hay — big or small, it all helps
💷 Donate money — every pound goes towards feeding the animals
📣 Share our appeal with friends, family, and schools
🎟️ Buy a ticket or animal adoption to help pay for the animals food.

Every bale of hay, every pound donated, and every kind share helps keep Gorse Hill City Farm a safe and caring place for animals in our community🌾

We’d love if we could raise £2000 so we’re able to purchase around 200 bales of hay, which should last us until mid march, which should hopefully give us time for the grass to grow, and limit our hay usage… We believe this is possible with our amazing community 🌸🥹✨
