Sounds backwards, right? But it's true — and it's why so many people feel stuck no matter how "healthy" they're eating and drinking.

Water goes to your vital organs first. Your skin barrier is what actually decides whether moisture stays in your skin or evaporates straight out. PDRN vs lasers for skin — most clinics are still chasing lasers, but they work in completely different ways.

Lasers create controlled damage. They heat or wound the skin on purpose, forcing your body into repair mode to rebuild collagen. Powerful, yes — but that means downtime, redness, sensitivity, and real risk for darker skin tones (hyperpigmentation is a genuine concern).

PDRN doesn't damage anything. It works by binding to A2A receptors on your cells and telling them to repair — activating the same regenerative pathway your body already uses to heal wounds, just without the wound. How do I prepare for the specialist scar treatment?❓️

Stop all active ingredients such as acids, vitamin c🍊, retinols etc 5 days before the treatment.
If you are planning a holiday in the sun within 2 weeks of treatment then book the treatment after your holiday.🏖
Avoid booking the treatment when you are menstruating as you will be overly sensitive.
Recommended uptake on Omega 3, 🐟Vitamin D☀️ and Iron🥬 to support the best results.

What is the downtime?❓️
48 hours of redness, skin may feel slightly bumpy for 3- 5 days however this will not be visible.

What is the aftercare?❓️
No make up for 3 days💄, no active ingredients such as acids, vitamin c, retinols etc for 7 days after the treatment.
Avoid the sun for 2 weeks after the treatment and ensure you are using appropriate SPF.
Avoid strenuous activities that cause sweating for 48 hours.💪
No caffeine for 24 hours.☕️

PDRN vs Polynucleotides — what's the difference? 🧬✨

If you're dealing with acne scars, you've probably heard both terms thrown around. Here's the simple version:

PDRN and Polynucleotides both come from DNA and help your skin repair and regenerate itself.

The difference is size. PDRN is made of smaller DNA fragments, so it's brilliant at targeting deep repair — think wound healing, collagen building, and calming inflammation. That's why it's such a strong option for acne scarring specifically.

Polynucleotides are made of larger fragments, working more on overall hydration, elasticity and that plump, "glass skin" glow.
